Finalist for "AI-Swede of the Year"

Finalist i Årets AI-svensk!? This wasn’t really something I expected when I woke up this morning, but it warms a Friday-tired heart! A big thank you for the nomination!

Årets AI-svensk is an award presented by the industry and employer organization TechSverige and goes to the person the jury feels has contributed most to raising the profile and development of Swedish AI. Today I’m trying to put the imposter-syndrome part of my brain aside, but it’s hard when I see the other finalists. Once again, thank you so much! And yes, I promise to keep playing, exploring and helping children as well as adults to understand and make use of new technologies.

Nominering

Mikael Kring, projektledare RISE Mikael Kring has, in his previous role as an IT educator at Årstaskolan and now at Research Institutes of Sweden (RISE), worked hard to support students and teachers in using digital tools wisely in teaching. He has a unique ability to make AI accessible and meaningful to a broad audience. In a playful and inspiring way he reaches out with practical support on how different AI solutions — for example in video, audio, text and image — can be used in schools and education. His tireless curiosity and commitment have made AI more accessible and effective for many.
